As co-head of our Mergers & Acquisitions Practice, Steve counsels public and private companies, financial sponsors, and investment banking firms in a variety of transactional and advisory situations, including acquisitions, divestitures, takeover preparedness, and corporate governance matters.   • Catalent in numerous engagements including its $1b acquisition of Bettera Holdings, its $1.2 billion acquisition of Paragon Bioservices, its $950 million acquisition of Cook Pharmica, its $475 million acquisition of Metrics Contract Services, and its acquisitions of Redwood Bioscience, Micron Technologies, Accucaps Industries Limited, MaSTherCell Global and Vaccine Manufacturing and Innovation Centre UK Limited
  • W.R. Grace in numerous engagements including its $500 million acquisition of the UNIPOL Polypropylene Licensing and Catalysts business of The Dow Chemical Company, its $416 million acquisition of the polyolefin catalysts business of Albemarle Corporation, and its acquisition of BASF's polyolefin catalyst business
  • Apollo Global Management in numerous engagements, including advising the special committee of the board of directors of Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance in its $641 million acquisition of Apollo Residential Mortgage
