Fried Frank Attorneys Honored by New York Legal Assistance Group

New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) honored partner Wesley O’Brien and special counsel Cecilia Wang for their dedication and invaluable impact on clients at the organization’s 2022 Pro Bono Awards. 

O’Brien was honored for his work with the Mobile Legal Help Center. This program provides free legal assistance to otherwise hard-to-reach communities by dispatching an NYLAG van to neighborhoods all over the five boroughs. O’Brien has played a crucial role in volunteering and enlisting many other attorneys from Fried Frank to provide pro bono support to NYLAG through this program. Wang was honored for her commitment to serving survivors of domestic violence. She has had an incredible impact in expanding meaningful access to legal representation for survivors who speak Mandarin and has enabled NYLAG to enhance its work in Chinese and Asian-American communities.
