Fried Frank and PwC Host Second Annual Roundtable on the Future of Unitranche Financing and Alternative Lending

Fried Frank, together with PwC, co-hosted its second annual roundtable discussion on “Developments in Unitranche Financing and the Future of Alternative Lending” on March 15, 2017 in London. The discussion was moderated by Stuart Brinkworth, head of Fried Frank’s London Finance Practice, together with Adam Horey and John Williams of PwC’s Debt & Capital Advisory Group. Participants discussed topics ranging from leverage and pricing, deal flow and generation, issues facing funds when deals get into distress, how funds are differentiating themselves from each other and from the banks, the US financing trends reaching Europe and the benefits and challenges of using synthetic structures.

The roundtable was covered by Debtwire and attended by representatives from Ardian, Avenue, Bain Capital Credit, BlackRock, HPS Investment Partners, KKR, Muzinich & Co., Park Square and RBS.
