Corporate Talks at Poul Schmith: The Investment Screening Act and M&A

Fried Frank antitrust, competition, and trade partner Dr. Tobias Caspary and corporate partner Michael T. Gershberg will speak at the virtual seminar, The Investment Screening Act and M&A, hosted by the Danish law firm Poul Schmith, and in collaboration with Goldman Sachs. The Investment Screening Act (a new Danish law) comes into effect on July 1, 2021. The purpose of the seminar is to give participants an overview of the regulation and to explore in depth the background and objectives of the new Danish regulation as well as to put into perspective the practical consequences for companies, private equity funds, and advisers in connection with the strategic consideration in regard to transactions and the planning and execution of transactions.
Fried Frank partners Dr. Tobias Caspary and Michael T. Gershberg will provide an overview of the experiences with the corresponding regulation in the US, the UK and Germany, all of which have had the similar regulation for many years.
