Washington, DC resident Public Service Counsel Karen T. Grisez will speak on the panel, “Due Process Issues Facing the U.S. Immigration Courts” at the Commission on Immigration’s Annual Business Meeting, hosted by ABA Judicial Division and the National Conference of the Administrative Law Judiciary. The panel will discuss the scope of the Justice Department changes adopted in the past two years, the status of their implementation, pending court challenges, and proposals for restructuring the immigration judiciary by creation of an Article I Immigration Court.
