Fried Frank hosted a Brexit Breakfast Seminar looking at practical considerations for the alternatives industry and what businesses should be thinking about as the March deadline approaches. Corporate partner Kate Downey moderated the panel, which also included antitrust and competition partner Tobias Caspary and corporate partners Gregg Beechey and Dan Oates.

Areas discussed included no-deal contingency planning, regulatory and compliance concerns (AIFMD/MiFID), M&A deal outlook, emergence of stricter UK/EU Foreign Direct Investment Regimes and treatment of UK/EU investors, and upcoming competition and merger control policy changes.
