Training contracts (London)

Our firm was one of the first major US law firms to open an office in London, in 1970, and in recent years we have enjoyed significant growth as a result of our combined US and UK expertise.

Our London Training Contracts is a tailored and engaging training programs that provides a practical, hands-on approach to learning. You’ll be part of a close-knit team working for substantial clients on UK, European, and international transactions, with direct access to US and UK capabilities. Our trainees spend their two-year training contract working with partners and associates across four departments, gaining a broad knowledge of the law on their way to becoming a commercial partner to our clients. If you are applying to Fried Frank during your studies, we recommend that you apply in either the penultimate year of your law degree or the final year of a non-law degree. We welcome graduates and those changing careers.

Insight Day

Discover if Fried Frank is right for you by joining us for an Insight Day on Wednesday, 26 April 2023. Learn about our culture and working environment whilst spending the day with our current trainees to get a true understanding of the day-to-day role of a Fried Frank trainee. As well as work-shadowing our trainees you will have the opportunity to meet and chat to associates and partners as well as our recruitment team who will offer advice on the Training Contract selection process.
