Rodney H. Hill advises clients on the tax aspects of a range of transactions, with a particular focus on investment fund formation and mergers and acquisitions involving investment fund sponsors.

Fund sponsors seek Rodney’s representation in connection with the structuring and formation of investment funds, including private equity funds, hedge funds, funds-of-funds and separate accounts across alternative asset classes, including buyout, growth, venture, infrastructure, renewable energy, credit and real estate.  Rodney also frequently represents fund clients in connection with the acquisition of interests in other alternative asset managers and other corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Fried Frank, Rodney was an associate in the New York office of another large international law firm, where he practiced in both the corporate and tax departments.
