Mark has extensive transactional experience across a broad range of sectors from industrials to technology, energy, and infrastructure, major media, healthcare, consumer, and financial services transactions.

Mark was previously vice president and associate general counsel of the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. He focused on private equity transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and capital raising activities, as well as other principal investments made by Goldman Sachs.

  • Goldman Sachs Asset Management,  as part of a buyer group, for the take private of New Frontier Health Corporation
  • West Street Energy Partners, West Street Infrastructure Partners, and West Street Capital Partners, alongside Riverstone Holdings, in the US$1.6 billion acquisition of Lucid Energy Group II and counsel to Goldman Sachs Asset Management in the subsequent US$3.55 billion sale of Lucid Energy to a wholly-owned subsidiary of Targa Resources.
  • RedBird Capital Partners, in several engagements including its investments in EquipmentShare, Wasserman Media Group and Main Event Entertainment; the acquisition of Vida Capital, alongside Reverence Capital Partners; and its acquisition, alongside Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson of the XFL
  • Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners, in connection with the sale of its majority stake in Red de Carreteras de Occidente, S.A.B. de C.V. (RCO), the largest private toll road concessionaire/pure-play toll road operator in Mexico, to a consortium consisting of Abertis Infraestructuras, S.A. and GIC Special Investments Pte. Ltd.
