As co-head of our Corporate Real Estate Practice, Lee Parks advises clients on diverse types of real estate-related transactions, including joint ventures, portfolio transactions, funds, proptech investments, public and private mergers and acquisitions, REITs, structured financings, and restructurings.

Our foreign clients, including sovereign wealth funds and pension plans, turn to Lee when they invest in US real estate. Lee also works on restructuring securitized financing structures, as well as other aspects of distressed real estate investing.

Lee regularly advises Brookfield Properties, RXR Realty, Tishman Hotel and Resorts, Goldman Sachs, Pretium Partners, and SL Green Realty Corp. He has also advised other developers and foreign and domestic investors in their real estate investments.

Earlier in his career, he worked extensively in Latin America, where he participated in cross-border M&A and global offerings, among other projects. He also has a background in the computer science and electrical engineering fields, and has experience in technology law, advising Internet startup ventures, and venture capital investing. Before becoming an attorney, Lee was a consultant to several technology companies, including International Business Machines Corporation, and a founder of an AI hardware and software company.
