Gerald Brown, Jr. counsels clients on asset management matters, particularly in the formation of closed-end funds.

Clients turns to Gerry in connection with the formation of credit funds, real estate and real estate credit funds, traditional buyout funds, infrastructure funds, funds of funds, managed accounts, funds-of-one, employee funds, co-invest arrangements, and bespoke investment vehicles and products. Gerry also advises on a variety of other corporate transactional matters, including investments in private equity managers and secondary transactions.

Gerry speaks frequently on industry panels and at law schools in New York City, and authors bylined articles on topics within the fund formation space. He has guest-taught classes at New York University, Cardozo and New York Law School. Gerry also served as a panelist at the Maples Investment Funds Forum.
