Emily Carey is an associate in the Real Estate Department resident in the Washington, DC office.

Ms. Carey advises clients in connection with a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, leasing, and joint ventures. 

Prior to joining Fried Frank, Ms. Carey was corporate counsel at Marriott International, Inc., where she focused her practice on legal advice for asset management transactions, hotel management agreements, food and beverage agreements, construction contracts, design services, and product collaborations.  

Ms. Carey received her JD from Columbia Law School in 2006 and her BA from Yale University in 2000. She is admitted to the bar in New York; not admitted in the District of Columbia; supervised by a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
