Ashley maintains an active pro bono practice and has worked with Her Justice to assist clients in divorce proceedings and also represented clients in immigration matters, mediations, and other various limited-scope representations. Notably, she has represented the League of Women Voters before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in major voting rights litigation.
