Work Highlights:

  • Permira in numerous matters including as M&A counsel to a consortium including Permira in the $14 billion acquisition of McAfee Corporation, Permira’s $5.8 billion take-private acquisition of Mimecast, a consortium including Permira in the $10.2 billion in its definitive agreement to acquire Zendesk Inc., Permira in connection with its leading of the $150 million investment in AllTrails, its investment in Relativity, and its participation in the Series G-1 funding round of Carta.
  • Simon Properties Group alongside a consortium of Authentic Brands Group and Brookfield Properties, in its acquisition of assets of Forever 21 and certain of its subsidiaries that are debtors in proceedings under Chapter 11, Title 11, United States Bankruptcy Code.
  • Jacobs Engineering Group in its $3.3 billion definitive agreement to sell its Energy, Chemicals, and Resources (ECR) segment to WorleyParsons Limited, its $2.9 billion acquisition of CH2M Hill, its $815 million acquisition of KeyW Holding Corporation, its acquisition of Blacklynx, Inc. and its sale of certain assets to LJA Engineering.
  • Tapestry (f/k/a Coach) in its $2.4 billion acquisition of Kate Spade & Company.
  • Visual Comfort & Co. in its sale to a consortium led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Leonard Green & Partners, L.P.
