Nick Thornton Appointed as Member of the Law Society’s Tax Law Committee

Tax partner Nick Thornton has been appointed as a member of the Law Society’s Tax Law Committee for a three-year term from September 1, 2019. The Tax Law Committee is one of the Law Society’s specialist policy advisory committees. It reviews and promotes improvements in tax law and procedure, overseeing the work of a number of subgroups focused on capital taxes, corporation tax, income tax, international tax, stamp taxes, and VAT and duties. The Law Society is the professional association that represents and governs solicitors in England and Wales.
