Kate Downey Receives 2019 Dee Dee Sklar Women in Fund Finance Award

Kate Downey, head of Fried Frank’s European Private Equity Funds Practice, received the 2019 Dee Dee Sklar Women in Fund Finance Award, announced on March 25, 2019 at Fund Finance Association’s Global Symposium in Miami. The award recognizes Ms. Downey’s outstanding overall contribution to women in fund finance and the industry, with an emphasis on her professional contributions that further the purposes and objective of the Fund Finance Association’s Women in Fund Finance (WFF) initiative. Ms. Downey is a founding member of WFF and her efforts and contributions to the initiative’s European Committee were recognized. The award was presented by Dee Dee Sklar of Wells Fargo.
 
Fried Frank is a regular sponsor of the Fund Finance Association, serving as platinum sponsors of the 2019 Global Symposium in Miami and the upcoming 2019 European Symposium in London.
