Janice Mac Avoy Honored in City & State New York’s 2019 Above & Beyond Feature

Real estate and litigation partner Janice Mac Avoy was one of five women honored by City & State New York in its Above & Beyond feature for the 2019 Women of New York Law & Lobbying. This is the second consecutive year that Ms. Mac Avoy has received the recognition. The feature shines a light on the remarkable work of 30 women in the health care, law, real estate, business, and nonprofit sectors who have distinguished themselves through leadership in their fields and their contributions to society.
 
In her profile, Ms. Mac Avoy discusses her career in real estate litigation and her commitment to women's rights, including issues of reproductive freedom and family law issues. She is a recipient of the “Courage Award” from The Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles for her advocacy in reproductive rights, as well as the "Commitment to Justice Award" for her extensive work on and long-term commitment to family law cases referred to her by Her Justice.
