James Kitching Appointed Master of the Bench of The Inner Temple

Litigation partner James Kitching has been appointed as a Master of the Bench (Governing Bencher) of The Inner Temple at the Bench Table Meeting on 16 July 2020. The Inner Temple was the home to the Knights Templar and is one of the four Inns of Court in London. Since the 14th Century, the Inns of Courts have had the exclusive right to Call students to practice law at the Bar of England and Wales. Master Kitching’s appointment is a recognition of ability and distinction in his practice and his contribution to the law and life of the Inn. As a Governing Bencher, Master Kitching is responsible for promoting the rule of law and a vibrant, diverse, legal community.
