Fried Frank Welcomes Intellectual Property Litigation Partners Nicole M. Jantzi and Paul M. Schoenhard in Washington, DC

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Nicole M. Jantzi and Paul M. Schoenhard have joined the Firm as partners in the Litigation Department, with Ms. Jantzi serving as head of Fried Frank’s IP Litigation Practice. They will be based in the Firm’s Washington, DC, office.
 
Ms. Jantzi and Mr. Schoenhard have worked closely together for twenty years, during which time they have developed a stellar reputation among their clients and peers as “two of the smartest and most effective IP lawyers in the market.” They have been counsel of record in over 150 intellectual property matters and regularly represent companies of all sizes and stages in their most complex and high-profile disputes. Their savvy, business-minded approach has garnered the trust of clients across industries—including high-tech, consumer products, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. At Fried Frank, Ms. Jantzi and Mr. Schoenhard will bring to bear their experience in every major IP jurisdiction to manage disputes involving patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, trade dress, and issues of unfair competition.

Fried Frank’s Litigation Department continues to expand, having most recently welcomed Deputy United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY) Ilan T. Graff as a partner in the White Collar Defense, Regulatory Enforcement & Investigations Practice and Geoffrey S. Berman, former US Attorney for the SDNY and current head of Fried Frank’s White Collar Defense, Regulatory Enforcement & Investigations Practice. Additionally, Emilie B. Cooper recently joined the Firm as partner in the Real Estate Litigation Practice.

Ms. Jantzi and Mr. Schoenhard join from McDermott Will & Emery where they were partners in the global intellectual property practice group, with Ms. Jantzi previously serving as head of the practice. Ms. Jantzi received her JD from George Washington University Law School and her BS, cum laude, from Binghamton University. Mr. Schoenhard received his JD from Harvard Law School and his BA, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College.
