Fried Frank Receives Perfect Score on HRC Foundation’s Scorecard for LGBTQ+ Workplace Equality

The 2022 CEI rated 1,271 businesses, including 152 law firms, in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, and support of an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility. The Firm's efforts in satisfying all of the CEI's criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a 2022 “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.”
In addition to maintaining inclusive policies, Fried Frank's Pride Alliance ERG hosts the annual Michael R. Diehl Civil Rights Forum, which brings civil rights leaders, colleagues, and clients together with Firm employees to discuss the most pressing social justice matters facing the community, including LGBTQ+ rights. The Firm also sponsors the Lavender Law Career Fair and Conference of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association. Fried Frank's robust pro bono program, a core tenet of the Firm's mission, provides legal counsel on matters involving family law, marriage equality, gender identity, asylum, HIV status, and other LGBTQ-related issues.
