Fried Frank Receives ABA’s 2021 National Public Service Award

Fried Frank has been selected as the recipient of the 2021 National Public Service Award by the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section, an honor which recognizes law firms, corporate law departments, and individual business lawyers that have made significant pro bono legal contributions and demonstrate a commitment to providing legal services to individuals and entities that could not otherwise afford them.
 
The Firm has been selected for its longstanding commitment to pro bono service and its focus on COVID-19-releated pro bono work in 2020, such as the Firm’s participation, as a founding firm, in the COVID-19 Frontline & Healthcare Workers Initiative which prepares vital end-of-life documents for essential medical personnel in New York City and delivers pro bono counseling to communities hit the hardest by the pandemic. Additionally, the Firm is recognized for its 20-year active partnerships with Lawyers Alliance for New York, as well as with the DC Bar Pro Bono Center.
