DOJ Files First Criminal Wage-Fixing Indictment

Last week, the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division filed the first criminal charges alleging a conspiracy among competitors to fix wages paid to employees.  The indictment follows several years of growing emphasis under the Trump and Obama Administrations to increase antitrust enforcement in the labor and employment markets.  We expect this area to remain a top enforcement priority as we transition to a new Administration.
