Cyber Insurance Coverage in the Remote Working World

In this memorandum, we discuss cybersecurity insurance coverage issues raised by the sudden shift to remote working in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, including how to spot and mitigate potential gaps in cyber insurance coverage for cyber and data privacy incidents stemming from breakdowns in corporate cybersecurity and data privacy policies and use of insufficiently secure hardware by workforces operating remotely during this unprecedented time.
