Fried Frank acted as counsel to a private fund controlled by Brookfield Asset Management in its approximately US$1.2 billion sale of a portfolio of five residential assets consisting of approximately 2,800 rental apartment units in New York City, to a joint venture between L + M Development Partners and Invesco Real Estate.
