Fried Frank acted as counsel to Yellow Wood Partners in its US$585 million definitive agreement to buy the Dr. Scholl's business from Bayer. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2019. Yellow Wood Partners is a Boston-based private investment firm. Bayer is a multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company. Dr. Scholl's is a footwear and orthopedic foot care brand.
