BCP Acquires Minority Stake in MSouth

  

Fried Frank acted as counsel to Bonaccord Capital Partners (“BCP”), a division of Aberdeen Standard Investments, in its acquisition of a passive, non-voting minority stake in Atlanta-based MSouth Equity Partners, a lower-middle market private equity firm. The transaction will provide capital to support MSouth's future growth and development of strategic initiatives. BCP will not acquire any operating or investment authority. Aberdeen Standard Investments is a leading global asset manager with $735 billion in assets under management and 52 offices worldwide.
