Fried Frank acted as counsel to Goldman Sachs and Greenhill & Co as financial advisors to TSYS in its US$21.5 billion combination with Global Payments to form a pure play payment technology company. TSYS is a global payments provider, offering seamless, secure, and innovative solutions across the payments spectrum for issuers, merchants, and consumers. Global Payments is a worldwide provider of payment technology and software solutions. The merger agreement has been unanimously approved by each company's Board of Directors and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2019.
