Fried Frank acted as counsel to Goldman Sachs Asset Management in its acquisition of Rocaton Investment Advisors. Rocaton Investment Advisors has more than US$600 billion in assets under advisement as of September 30, 2018 and offers advisory and discretionary investment services to a wide range of institutional clients including retirement plans, healthcare and insurance companies, endowments, foundations and financial intermediaries. Terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2019.
