Fried Frank Welcomes Executive Compensation & ERISA Partner Jason R. Ertel

New York, October 21, 2019 – Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Jason R. Ertel has joined the Firm as a partner in the Executive Compensation & ERISA Department. He will be based in the Firm's New York office.
 
Mr. Ertel has significant experience advising on a variety of executive compensation, ERISA, and other employee benefit matters, primarily in the context of public and private company mergers, acquisitions, sales, spin-offs, and other corporate transactions. At Fried Frank, he will continue to focus his practice on these matters, as well as on representing compensation committees, management teams, and individual executives.

Prior to joining Fried Frank, Mr. Ertel was a counsel in the employee benefits and executive compensation group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. He received his JD from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and his BA, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
