Fried Frank Welcomes Back Laurinda Martins as a Partner in the Real Estate Department

New York, June 7, 2019 – Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Laurinda Martins has rejoined the Firm as a partner in the Real Estate Department. She will be based in the Firm's New York office.
 
Ms. Martins has extensive experience and expertise in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including large scale acquisitions, joint ventures, and development. Ms. Martins rejoins Fried Frank from longtime client Brookfield Property Group, where she was a senior vice president and oversaw the legal aspects of a variety of complex projects, including most recently the US$11.4 billion acquisition of Forest City, among others. Prior to her role at Brookfield, she was a partner in Fried Frank's Real Estate Department.

Ms. Martins received her JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and her BA and BSBA, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
