Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Nathaniel L. Asker joined the Firm as special antitrust counsel in the Antitrust and Competition Practice, resident in the New York office.

The addition of Nate to our existing competition team will position us to continue to provide advice across a broad range of industries and issues in multiple jurisdictions.”
Mr. Asker focuses on antitrust aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures and represents clients before the US Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. He has advised clients in a range of industries, including technology and software, aerospace and defense, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, energy, and financial services, among others.
Mr. Asker currently serves on the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association's Antitrust Section and has spoken on antitrust topics at Fordham Law School and Columbia Law School. Mr. Asker was listed as a “Rising Star” in the 2013 and 2014 New York – Metro editions of Super Lawyers magazine.
Mr. Asker received his JD, cum laude, in 2005 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his BA in 2000, from the University of Virginia. He is admitted to practice in New York and the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
