Fried Frank of counsel Robert Juceam was honored by CUNY Citizenship NOW!, the largest university-based citizenship and immigration law service provider in the nation. It was presented by the Hon. Robert A. Katzmann, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Juceam was recognized during an awards event as a Champion on Tuesday, March 25, for his continued work on behalf of immigrants. He has been a long-time promoter of pro bono service, having dedicated much of his career to ensuring that others have access to justice. His drive and endeavors over the years to ignite change in the treatment and representation of immigrants and asylum seekers have not gone unrecognized; he has previously received honors and awards from numerous organizations including: the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, the Center for Constitutional and Human Legal Rights, the Haitian Refugee Center, the American Bar Association, the Legal Aid Society, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Immigration Law Foundation and, for Lifetime Achievement, from The American Lawyer.
