Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that the following associates have been promoted to special counsel:
- Avi D. Feinberg (Real Estate – New York) joined the Firm in 2006 and concentrates on real estate-related acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, and the representation of lenders and borrowers in financings. He received his JD from New York University School of Law in 2002 and his BA from New York University, College of Arts and Science, in 1999. He is admitted to the bar in New York.
- Eddie E. Frastai (Real Estate – New York)joined the Firm in 2005 and advises clients regarding real estate-related sales, acquisitions, financings, joint ventures and leasing. He received his JD from New York University School of Law in 2002, and his BA, magna cum laude, from New York University, College of Arts and Science, in 1999. He is admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey.
- Eugene N. Hansen (Litigation – Washington, DC) joined the Firm in 2003 and is a litigator whose work includes securities and commercial litigation, international arbitration and white-collar criminal investigations. He received his JD, magna cum laude, from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in 2002, and his BA from Whitman College in 1999. Mr. Hansen served as a law clerk for Judge Richard C. Tallman of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia and Virginia; and is admitted to practice in the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits.
- Guangqin Wei (Corporate – Hong Kong) joined the Firm in 2004 and concentrates his practice on corporate finance and securities law, representing both issuers and underwriters in a variety of financing transactions, including high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings, initial public offerings and cross-border financings, as well as debt restructurings. He received his BS from Peking University in 1997, his LLB from Peking University in 1998, his MS from Yale University in 2000, and his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (Order of the Coif) in 2004.
