The Am Law Daily reported Fried Frank's representation of Permira in its binding offer to acquire Genesys, a global expert in contact center technology software, from Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris, NYSE: ALU) in a cash transaction valued at US$1.5b. Deal Pipeline also reported on the transaction.
