Bill Josephson receives William Hoyt Archives Award for Advocacy

New York of counsel Bill Josephson (NY) was selected to receive the 2011 William Hoyt Archives Award for Advocacy, presented annually by the New York State Archives and Archives Partnership Trust to recognize outstanding support of major archival programs that have had a regional or statewide impact. Mr. Josephson was selected in part for having served as a member of the New York State Historical Records Advisory Board and the Board of the New York State Archives Partnership Trust and providing ongoing advice. A program of the State Education Department, the New York State Archives cares for and provides access to more than 200 million documents that tell the story of New York from the seventeenth century to the present. Mr. Josephson will be honored in Albany on October 25, 2011.
