New York Law Journal reports Fried Frank's involvement in one of the largest leasing deals of the year

New York Law Journal reported a 20-year lease for 900,000 square feet at Worldwide Plaza (825 Eighth Avenue) between Nomura Holding America Inc. and building owner WWP Office, LLC, a partnership headed by George Comfort & Sons. New York real estate partner Meyer Last represented the partnership. Noting that this is one of the largest leasing deals of the year, the article quoted Mr. Last: "The fact that such a large portion of the new lease consists of expansion space, beyond what Nomura currently leases, is a reflection of how quickly the business of the large banks, which are so critical to the health of the New York real estate market, has bounced back and is an encouraging sign for the leasing market."
