Fried Frank Receives Award in Recognition of Civil Rights Litigation Work

On June 16, 2011, Fried Frank received an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs at its Wiley A. Branton Awards Lunch. The awards are presented annually to a select number of firms who have done exceptional civil rights litigation work with the Washington Lawyers' Committee. Fried Frank was recognized for its multi-year, pro bono representation of the Equal Rights Center (ERC) in a number of large and contentious federal court actions against major nationwide developers of multifamily housing properties who failed to comply with the accessibility requirements of the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
