James J. McCullough speaks with Government Contracts Law360 about scrutiny of war zone contractors

Washington, DC litigation partner James J. McCullough was quoted in an article about the possibility of heightened scrutiny of government contractors working in Afghanistan as a result of a new report by the US Senate requesting that the government review its rebuilding efforts in the country. Mr. McCullough said, “I don’t think that the defense industry or the folks in the private security companies involved in Afghan nation-building would have any objection to additional contractor oversight. There is sometimes a sense of certainty and stability that you get as a contractor by understanding what the rules are and having someone to answer to. It's better when everybody knows the rules.”
