New York trusts and estates partner Ann B. Lesk, who is also president of the New York County Lawyer's Association (NYCLA), is quoted in article on the Judicial Conduct Commission's rejection to proposed changes to its procedures offered by the NYCLA in a recent report. Commenting on the Commission's response that the NYCLA's report is 'one-sided', Ms. Lesk said, "NYCLA's goal here is to protect the public interest rather than protecting individual judges. Both the judge and the public are protected by according the judge basic due process protection."
