Robert E. Juceam and Jennifer L. Colyer Deliver Report on the Legal Services Needs of Immigrant Poor

As part of the Robert L. Levin Distinguished Lecture Series, New York litigation of counsel Robert E. Juceam and New York litigation special counsel Jennifer L. Colyer presented a report entitled “The Representational and Counseling Needs of the Immigrant Poor.” The report, which was created on behalf of the Katzmann Study Group’s Subcommittee on Increasing Pro Bono Activity, assesses the need for legal services of the immigrant poor, identifies gaps in existing mechanisms to try to meet it, and suggests what should be done to leverage scarce resources. The full lecture series was published in the November 2009 issue of the Fordham Law Review.
