Howard Goldstein comments on the re-filed law suit against his client the International Longshoremen’s Association in the Journal of Commerce.

Litigation partner Howard Goldstein is quoted in a February 18, 2008 Journal of Commerce article, "ILA: Feds’ Case Still Flawed," on the revised and re-filed law suit against his client, the International Longshoremen’s Association. The original complaint was dismissed because it was too vague and included extraneous material that violated the court requirements for clear and concise facts. In response to the government refilling an even longer and more complicated complaint, Howard wrote in recently submitted court papers that "the government filed a second amended complaint that did precisely what the court said was not permitted."
