A November 14, 2007, New York Law Journal article, “Marketplace,” lists partner Stephen Lefkowitz and associates Noah Daniels, Alexis Kremen and Brian Lichter as counsel to the New York Public Library in connection with the sale and development of the property and building housing its Donnell branch site to Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. for $59 million.  Orient-Express plans to raze the existing five-story building and construct an 11-story hotel.  Under the terms of the deal, the library will own and occupy the space on the first floor and the basement level of the hotel.
