Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia's 2006 Leadership Award


 

The Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia ("HBA-DC") awarded Fried Frank its 2006 Leadership Award. Annually since 2004, The Leadership Award has been given to a legal employer in the Washington, DC area that has demonstrated both a commitment to hiring and retaining Hispanic attorneys as well as promoting diversity in the legal profession. The HBA-DC commended Fried Frank for its efforts in increasing the number of Hispanic attorneys in the Washington, DC office, as well as for the leadership the Firm has shown in the profession through such initiatives as the Washington, DC Minority Networking Series. Fried Frank was noted for contributing to Latino organizations, such as the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF).
