Fried Frank Noted in New York Law Journal for Role in HCA Inc. Buyout

The July 27th "New Deals" column of the New York Law Journal reports that Fried Frank represented Merrill Lynch, financial adviser to the private equity consortium of Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts, Bain Capital, Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity and Thomas Frist Jr., in their acquisition of HCA Inc. Fried Frank also acted as counsel to Banc of America and Merrill Lynch in their financing commitment for this transaction, the largest leveraged buyout in history.
