Partner Meyer Last noted for representation of the Bank of Nova Scotia in its lease to Bevmax Office Centers at 1 Liberty Plaza, New York Law Journal, "Real Estate Marketplace"

In the New York Law Journal's February 25th issue, "Real Estate Marketplace" notes that "Bevmax Office Centers, providers of temporary workspace, recently opened an executive office center at 1 Liberty Plaza in space that had been vacant since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks destroyed the neighboring World Trade Center. The 1972 building suffered cosmetic damage in the attacks, including a reported 650 broken windows....Bevmax subleased 26,000 square feet on the building's 23rd floor, where Bevmax has furnished offices, conference rooms and provides support services to businesses. The company contracted with 10 small businesses within a few weeks of signing a deal in the building owned by Brookfield Properties....Meyer Last, a partner with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson [LLP], represented the Bank of nova Scotia."
