Firm client Townhouse Management represented in sale of Chelsea apartment building, Real Estate Weekly, "Maidmans Show $93M of Expertise with Chelsea Sale"

According to an article in the May 19th Real Estate Weekly, "Berkshire Capital Group LLC, an affiliate of the CIT Group Plc, and Lend Lease Real Estate Investments Inc. have purchased the Chelsea, a 204-unit apartment building at 160 W. 24th St. for $93 million. All apartments at the building are leased to Marriott ExecuStay, the corporate housing division of Marriott International, Inc. The seller is the Maidman family's Townhouse Management joint venture with Pine Equity NY, which acquired the Chelsea in June, 2001....Townhouse Management was represented in the transaction by law firms Maidman & Mittelman LLP and Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson [LLP]."
