Philip Richter, a corporate partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, was profiled in The Deal's "Movers & Shakers" column of January 21. "Among his noteworthy accomplishments was helping to represent BellSouth Corp., a parent of Cingular Wireless LLC, in Cingular's $41 billion acquisition of AT & T Wireless Services Inc. He also assisted ad colossus WPP Group plc in its $1.5 billion purchase of Grey Global Group Inc. .... Richter, 35, has enjoyed an enviable career trajectory. He worked at Fried Frank as a summer associate in 1993 while studying for his JD at Columbia University. He joined the firm the next year and became a partner in 2002 .... Richter frequently represents Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its capacity as a deal advisor. He is also very active in private equity, working with clients including Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and London-based Permira.
