Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Brad J. Richter has joined the firm as a partner in the Trusts and Estates Department, resident in New York.
Mr. Richter’s practice focuses on all aspects of private client representation, including sophisticated tax and estate planning, complex structuring work, administration of large estates and trusts, succession and business planning, tax-efficient transfers of wealth, and formation and operation of charitable foundations. He represents high net worth individuals, corporate executives, principals in private equity deals, investors in early stages of a business enterprise, the fiduciaries of estates and trusts, charitable organizations, and others.

Mr. Richter joins Fried Frank from Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, where he served as Special Counsel in the Individual Clients Group. He received his JD, cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College. Mr. Richter is admitted to the bar in New York and Massachusetts.
