Kenneth R. Blackman joined the Firm in 1966 and was a corporate partner resident in Fried Frank's New York office from 1973 to 2007. In March 2007, he became of counsel upon his retirement as a partner.
Mr. Blackman's practice included representations of domestic and international clients in a variety of corporate transactions, including the representation of various Canadian companies in connection with cross-border financing, as well as merger and acquisition transactions and other matters involving the application of US securities laws to foreign issuers.
He represented both issuers and underwriters in public and private (including Rule 144A) offerings, including both equity and debt (including high-yield debt) securities. Mr. Blackman is also a long-time member of Fried Frank’s Opinion Committee.
