Daniel M. Singer is of counsel in the corporate department resident in Fried Frank's Washington, DC office. He joined the Firm in 1958 and became a partner in 1965.
Mr. Singer's professional experience includes acting as counsel to the developer of the mixed-use Watergate Project in Washington, DC and to developers of large regional shopping centers in suburban Virginia, Texas and elsewhere; counseling in a wide range of real estate, corporate and partnership financings; and in the organization and operation of not-for-profit entities.
Mr. Singer has served as an American Arbitration Association arbitrator since 1984 in leasing, construction, financing and partnership disputes, and as a United States District Court mediator since 1989. For 20 years prior to becoming of counsel, Mr.Singer led the Washington office's real estate department.
Mr. Singer served as a motions clerk, United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (1956-1957). He also was a law clerk to the Hon. George T. Washington, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (1957-1958).
